Fringe to the core, The Lucinda Light Show is heartwarming, honest and above all, light-hearted. Lucinda welcomes us in to share her own vulnerability and chaos in a celebration of humanity and silliness.
Self-described as part-poet, part-clown, entire mad-woman, Lucinda's show is an anarchic mixture of music, poetry, audience participation, dance and storytelling. She flows joyfully from one to the next, blissfully breaking the fourth wall by self-reflecting as she goes.
This is truly a one-woman show, with Lucinda operating her own sound, lighting, costume and set changes. This adds greatly to the down-to-earth feel of the show and reflects her quirky, irreverent style.
Pro-tip: aim to arrive early and sit up the front, so you can see! The venue is very intimate, without tiered seating, so those sitting up the back will spend a lot of time bobbing and straining to see Lucinda's colourful variety of costumes and movements.
