Don't miss the strictly limited season of The Lost Voice of Anne Bronte at Melbourne Polytechnic this January; there are 4 performances only (January 28-29) before the show debuts in the UK! Tickets are now on sale at Trybooking.

The critically acclaimed The Lost Voice of Anne Bronte is written and directed by celebrated playwright, Cate Whittaker.

The inspiring drama centres on a delicate, dutiful, devout girl, repressed by waring sisters, a dissolute brother and zealot of a father.

Anne finds the courage to risk financial ruin and reputation to write on the misery of girls pressed into loveless marriages, and wives devoid of legal rights, powerless against abusive husbands.

"... a vigorous piece"- Canberra Critics Circle
