Expect the unexpected in surrealist horror-comedy The Long Pigs

Strange. Surreal. Spooky. Horror enthusiasts will savour each and every jump scare in the dark theatrical spectacular that is
The Long Pigs.
From the eccentric minds behind We3 Theatre Company and Cluster Arts comes a showcase of clown comedy and physical theatre where horror meets hilarity.
Tandanya Theatre is transformed into an eerie abattoir-shack with grimy white sheets, meat hooks and rickety wooden beams strewn across the stage. A cast of three talented performers including Clare Bartholomew, Nicci Wilks and Mozes Mozes deliver a strangely intriguing performance as a trio of black-nosed comrades who are a freakish crossbreed between feral pigs and killer clowns.

Dressed in a strange mishmash of surgical gowns and abattoir aprons, the Pigs are on a mission to eliminate every last red nose clown in existence. Whilst collecting the shiny red noses of their victims in rusty buckets, disaster strikes when their catch count reveals that they are one nose short!
What follows is a fever dream-like sequence of murderous mayhem, spine-tingling skits and utter absurdity that leaves audiences unable to peel their eyes away from watching. Clowns are beheaded, red noses are surgically removed and skulls are cracked with an abnormally large hammer.
Unlike anything that has ever hit the Fringe before,
The Long Pigs strikes a unique balance of comedy and horror that is hilariously blasphemous yet chillingly dark. Not for the faint of heart, this one's a show best reserved for the brave on their late night Fringe escapades.
The Long Pigs transformed the Tandanya Theatre at Live From Tandanya into a freak show-meets-fairground for ten exclusive shows from Wednesday 6 - Sunday 17 March.
