As someone who lives near New Lambton, I would say that the locals of the area are not spoilt for choice when it comes to lush cafes and fine dining. Enter, The Locale! This is a considerably new establishment, and upon my first visit I was in complete admiration for the decor and design of the cafe. It has a real rustic yet modern feel, with quirky little knick knacks at every turn. The cafe is spacious with seating both indoors and outdoors, which is necessary for the seemingly positive turnaround they have.

The menu consists of both standard and unique food and beverages, ranging from eggs Benedict to asparagus risotto with shallot confit, truffle oil and parmesan; not to mention the salted caramel milkshake that is simply delectable. The staff are all young and friendly, keen to demonstrate good customer service skills and make their patrons feel welcome. Food prices are reasonable, ranging from $5.50 - $18.50 for breakfast, brunch and lunch meals.

As someone who loves dining out for dinners and would do so every night if money grew on trees, I was disappointed that is not open for dinner, and food orders stop at around 3 pm. However, the food they do serve is almost on par with fine dining, so there isn't too much complaining here. If you wish to swing by for some mouth watering food and beverages with a side of delightful atmosphere, you will find at 28 Alma Road, New Lambton, NSW, 2305 and can contact them on 02 49579998. Meanwhile, why not check out their website .

I would highly recommend a visit to The Locale, it will definitely be becoming my local. Happy dining.
