Little things that run our city
Find out who really runs the city with this free launch of an exciting new children's book held at the Melbourne Museum. Enjoy a close up encounter with these fascinating creatures that inhabit our city landscape and often go unnoticed.
The City of Melbourne, in collaboration with RMIT, has published the children's book 'The Little Things That Run the City', aimed at educating children in a fun way about these little critters and their lifestyles. At 11:15am, enjoy a reading of the story by Kate Cranney, the book's illustrator and researcher Dr Luis Mata. Live bugs will also be on display, brought to you by the Museum's Live Exhibits team.
Special exhibition Bug Lab: Little Bugs, Super Powers is also on at the moment and a school holiday treat for the kids. It closes on October 15, so don't miss out!
