Nice wine, good company & quality French food
Viva Le France! Welcome to Paris. If you're planning a trip to Paris and if you have never been there before, have you thought about trying a French dish to put a little French in your system?

The Little Snail Restaurant & Bar located at Pyrmont

The Little Snail Restaurant & Bar might be just what you need. So if you have not been able to get to France, Paris has come to you first. It's in the very convenient location of Pyrmont, right at Darling Harbour, a short walking distance from the waters of Harbourside, a bustling casino, "The Star", and surrounding tourist attractions.

You will be greeted by their attentive and kind French staff upon your arrival (well, they sound like they have a French accent). It's a very lovely setting inside with a mini aquarium as you enter the restaurant and a set of stairs that lead you to the second floor.

Their dishes include traditional French cuisine and some unexpected Aussie cuisine as well, such as Kangaroo fillet. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, though, & miss the entrees. These include Salt & Pepper Squid, King Prawns, Pate Maison and Escargots De Bourgogne (which is marinated snails infused with herbs & oven baked in garlic butter- a gorgeous dish with escargot shells that are a delight to just look at). Dropping a quick "Merci" (thank you) to the waiters as they bring out your dish might score you some additional impressive points too & show appreciation of their delightful service.

If you're up for some more real adventure and true French-style cuisine, have a go at the Chicken Cordon Bleu as a main dish. Otherwise you have a ravishing selection of a Seafood Plate or Citrus Marinated Tasmanian Salmon and other delicious meals. Now we can't leave Paris without having their famously global desserts like their Classic Creme Caramel or their Sticky Date Pudding. It just wouldn't be a complete experience.

Voila and Bon Appetite.

I've actually been looking for a good French restaurant for a while. Are the snails worth trying?
