This acclaimed production, adapted by Simon Clarke from the classic novella written by the French aristocrat, writer, poet, and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, has been engineered for audiences aged 4-12 years, but it is certain to delight adults and children alike. The Little Prince is an adventure story that celebrates the richness of human feeling and imagination.
One of the most widely read books in history — 140 million copies sold worldwide and printed in more than 250 languages and dialects including braille — Saint-Exupéry's exquisite tale has brought joy to generations with its beautifully clear insights, humour and timeless message about the importance of friendship. The novella is so loved by its native France that it was voted the best book of the 20th century in that country.
