The Little Mermaid (1989) is Disney's 28th animated feature film and one of their most successful animated films in the past 30 years. Based off the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale of the same name, The Little Mermaid tells the story of a rebellious mermaid named Ariel (Jodi Bensen) who dislikes living under the sea and dreams of becoming human.

The Little Mermaid was so well received it marked the start of an era called the 'Disney Renaissance' where the Disney Animation Studios expanded and produced a string critically acclaimed films over the next decade like Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992) and The Lion King (1994).

In addition to its box office success, The Little Mermaid is also well known for its award winning score. It won Best Score at the 1990 Academy Awards and "Under the Sea" picked up the award for Best Song. Other notable songs in the film include "Part of Your World" and "Kiss the Girl". The Little Mermaid Live in Concert will be a magical experience that the whole family will enjoy. To purchase your tickets to this one-of-a-kind event click here.
