The Bloody Mary. The perfect Sunday afternoon beverage. In the nearly five years I have been living in Sydney, the $10 Bloody Mary at The Little Guy in Glebe is the best I have had in this city. Not only do they strike a good balance in flavour and spice, it's all topped off with a generous selection of garnishes - nibbles right in your drink.
Mine arrived with a cucumber, green olives, pickled onions and grape tomatoes.
As an added bonus, the staff at The Little Guy simply can't be beat. They were even happy to add a bit more spice when I wanted a little more kick in my drink. The Little Guy has been a welcome addition to Glebe Point Road and just when I thought they couldn't get any better, then they bring us the $10 Bloody Mary on Sundays. Cool bar, fantastic staff, laid back crowd and a delicious Bloody Mary. Not a bad way to wind down the weekend.
