The performance is based on the novels by Dianne Wolfer and tells the story of Fay, who lives an isolated life with her lighthouse keeper father in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.

When war breaks out in 1914 Fay finds herself transcribing Morse code messages from soldiers stationed off shore, becoming their last hope of getting messages to their loved ones before heading to the front line.

The Lighthouse Girl runs for 100 minutes and is on at the State Theatre Centre of WA from 28 April to 14 May. Experience a uniquely Western Australian show, book tickets online. The show is suitable for families and children over 10 years.
