Jesse was diagnosed with Leukaemia in February 2008, just days after completing his 4th album. Good Day for a Migraine was released to outstanding critical acclaim. Tragically, months later, Jesse lost his battle. This concert is a way for fans to gather each year to honour Jesse's memory through the performance of his music. Jesse was a poignant storyteller put to haunting melodies. He's left behind a rich catalogue of compelling music and it's available on Vitamin Records and iTunes, with further recordings yet to be released.
Several tracks have featured on Australian Television Dramas like 'House Husbands', 'Packed to the Rafters', and 'East of Everything'. A unique event like this doesn't just do good towards leukaemia research etc, but ensures Jesse's musical legacy lives on. Of note, Emad Younan, Jesse's brother, will be performing on the night. You might remember him on 'The Voice' 2016.
