Segue Productions presents ' The Last Five Years' premiering at The Star Theatre on Thursday 24th August 2017 at 7:30pm until Saturday 26th August 2017.

Directed by Ben Stefanoff and Starring Ben Todd as Jamie Wellerstein and Kristin Stefanoff as Cathy Hiatt. Written and composed by Jason Robert Brown, it is based on the 2014 musical comedy film of the same name starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan.

It's the musical story of the tragic breakup between novelist Jamie Wellerstein (Todd) and actress Cathy Hiatt (Stefanoff) represented through song. Cathy's story starts at their separation and moves back through time till the day they met, whereas Jamie's starts when they met and fell in love and ends at their breakup.

Including your favourite songs from the musical "Still Hurting", "Shiksa Goddess", "See I'm Smiling", "Moving Too Fast", "A Part of That", "The Schmuel Song", "A Summer in Ohio", "The Next Ten Minutes", "A Miracle Would Happen/When You Come Home to Me", "Climbing Uphill", "If I Didn't Believe in You", "I Can Do Better Than That", "Nobody Needs to Know" and "Goodbye Until Tomorrow/I Could Never Rescue You".

Director Ben Stefanoff said "There is something very special about The Last Five Years. It's a show I have wanted to bring back to Adelaide for several years, the unique concept of having Jamie's songs move forward in time, with Cathy's numbers moving in reverse, simply gives us an insightful and poignant look at the roller-coaster ride we call love."

Don't miss your chance to see this incredible musical come to life at The Star Theatre from August 24th - 26th.
