The Last Drop Beeliar is the type of venue that happily caters for everyone from families to friends having a night out and to beer-nerds alike.
With its extensive
kids menu, impressive games room, range of own beers, unique range of meals, and huge cocktail list, there really is something for every taste.

The Last Drop, Beeliar.
The
Last Drop brews a number of German and Czech-inspired beers, including a pale ale, mild ale and a bock, or a dark lager that is highly recommended as a winter warmer through the colder months. For something truly different, have a go of the Hefeweizen Wheat Beer, which promises hints of banana, clove and bubblegum-style flavour. Interesting.

The games room is an absolute haven for keeping the kids entertained. There's a claw machine, Sega racing car games, a pinball machine, old-school arcade games, a pool table and plenty of space for the little ones to run around. The games room also leads to a courtyard, where you can enjoy a meal in the sunshine or under the shade cloth.

The impressive games room.
My family were impressed with the extended cocktail list, which range in price from $8 to $20 and ordered a long island ice tea for $8. The waitress told us the $8 cocktails are 1.5 standard drinks, which we all thought was a reasonable price.

The kids' pasta.
We have been to this venue several times and this was the first time our little girl was old enough to enjoy a full kids meal of her own. From the kids' fish and chips, kids nuggets and chips, pizza, hot dog, chicken pasta and cheeseburger, we opted for the pasta. Hint – take a bib. And a change of pants for your child (both of which I forgot in my haste). The sauce was a rich, Napolitano but it can be messy for little kids.

The kids' hotdog.
My niece chose the kids' hotdog, which was huge for a kids' meal and was served with sauce and chips. Each meal also comes with a juice, soft drink or a Fanta slushie for $12.
We ordered our mains shortly after taking a seat. We chose a range of
menu items, including chicken carbonara, chilli mussels, fish and chips, the Last Drop Burger, chicken parma and chicken wings. The menu is a real mix of culinary cultures, and includes Asian-style dishes like Nasi Goreng and a Thai salad along side steaks, seafood, pizza and salads.
Here's another hint – if you are going to order chilli mussels and INSIST on prying the closed ones open like my husband – do not wear white or take a t-shirt to change into. Now I know where my messy toddler gets her habits. Apart from the sauce incident, he enjoyed the rich flavour of the mussels but lamented the fact the serving seems to have shrunk since the last time we dined here some months ago. I think he just wanted to keep eating them.

The chilli mussels.

Chicken carbonara.
I chose the carbonara and here's my third hint for the evening – don't order pasta when you have been snacking on your daughter's tasty kids meal of pasta. The dish had large chunks of chicken and bacon, which seems to be rare in a carbonara, but there was an awful lot of pasta. The sauce was tasty and creamy, so I had to take it home with me.

The chicken parma.

The fish and chips.
Everyone enjoyed their meals, with hardly any of our group leaving much on the plate. The fish was battered beautifully, and was lovely and crispy on the outside. The parma was just the right size and is served with ham (as a good parma should be.)
The building itself is beautiful – it has the feel of an old English pub on the inside but a stately German brewery on the outside. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive and made sure to come around asking if we wanted desserts and coffee at the end.

Last Drop Burger.
The venue is available to hire for weddings, birthday parties and any other event you can think if, with food and beverage packages available. They hold a range of weekly events, including cheap lunch meals for seniors during the week, sundowners, karaoke and from October 30th,
Kids Karaoke.
Overall, The Last Drop is a fantastic destination for people of all ages and tastes. It is completely family-friendly and caters for you will easily find something on the food or drink menu you will enjoy.
