His Majesty's Theatre , in Perth, running from Saturday 2nd August, 2014 until Sunday 10th August, 2014.
The Last Confession stars the delightful English actor David Suchet, well known as Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot. The play follows Giovanni Bellini (Suchet) who, during his last confession, tells of his part in the death of John Paul I, and how these events led him to lose his faith.
The Last Confession centres around the Vatican and the sudden death of Pope John Paul I, only thirty-three days after his election. The Vatican refuses to investigate his death but Cardinal Giovanni Bellini, played by David Suchet, suspects that the pope was murdered and is determined to find out the truth.
