This summer the vibrant Melbourne laneway culture is transported to Warrnambool, where The Laneway Bar, brainchild of Melbourne law student Edward Mahoney, opens on December 20th beside the Emperors House restaurant.
Opening night entry is $20 a pop, which includes a drink on arrival and entry into the raffle. All of the proceeds from this night will be donated to
Peters Project, which aims to fund the development of a south-western Victorian integrated cancer care facility. After opening night, 20% of the summer's profits will also go towards this cause.Tapas will be available via the adjacent restaurant.
"Raising money for a South-West Victorian integrated cancer care facility, The Laneway Bar will be open over the summer weekends engaging the community in a worthwhile cause" states The Laneway Bar Facebook page.
