It was named for the "sea beast of myth and legend", and Kraken Rum is a strong, rich, black and smooth blend of rum.
It is said that a ship carrying one of the biggest quantities of black spiced rum, for unexplained reasons, did not reach its destination. There were many stories bantering around but while it is suspected that there was an attack by the Kraken, this has not been confirmed.
