I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

The Killer Queen Experience is two hours of Queen's greatest hits presented by a Brisbane based group. Formed in 2003, this group has been travelling around Australia and since 2010 internationally. Killer Queen has performed over 600 Shows in over 10 countries and in every Australian city, state and territory. The guys have an uncanny resemblance to the original band, their musicality is mind blowing and their various costume changes add to the authenticity.

The frontman John Blunt is well known as a Freddie Mercury impersonator and in 2016 was chosen to play the role of Freddie in the UK's ITV1 docudrama, The Freddie Mercury Story: Who Wants To Live Forever. He is ably supported by Wayne Vitale as John Deacon, Andrew Edwards as Brian May and Roger Taylor is played by Kevin Shilling

A great show (website image)

They perform to full houses at various venues mostly in Queensland and New South Wales and are touring for the rest of 2019. It is a great, loud and rock heavy show. Audience participation is encouraged with plenty of sing alongside and dancing in the aisles. All of the big hits are covered and are accompanied by a brilliant light show as well as some poignant film footage on the big screen.
