World-first - the new kikkiK Studio
kikki.K the phenomenal Swedish design brand created by Kristina Karlsson recently opened a world-first kikki.K store concept.

The kikki.K Studio, located on the Basement level of Chadstone Shopping Centre, is the first of its kind opened by Kristina and was designed by award winning London-based agency Dalziel & Pow.

With a fabulous entrance of birch forest trees and floor to ceiling digital displays along with the extensive white-wash wooden flooring, the authentic Swedish design is featured in every carefully planned area of the Studio.

From the bespoke product display movable cart to the custom-made long wooden workshop table, the aim is to immerse the customer in kikki.K designs and work, rather than just being yet another uninspired, profit-driven store.

The workshop table is designed to encourage customers to sit and enjoy designs or to actually write the Christmas or birthday card they purchased while in the comfort and surrounds of the beautifully designed Studio!

This Studio is unlike any of the current kikki.K stores. With 209 square metres to work with the Studio is not only the largest kikki.K store but also as Kristina Karlsson says "allowed us the freedom to do something we think is really special".

Throughout the Studio, you will see kikki.K designed inspiration from design mood boards to showcase kikki.K's unique products to perfectly styled workspace nooks that feature not only the products, but how they can be presented and arranged in your own home.

kikki.K's online presence and 'cult-like' following on social media have lent inspiration to such store concepts as how-to-videos being presented in store and miniature projection technology. In the carefully designed workspace nooks, you might see an open diary or planner and through the powers of projection, these books will come to life with a quick note, written before your eyes.

In this kikki.K Studio is the first chance you'll have to shop designer Limited Edition Products. At the Studio opening a few weeks ago with featured custom cookies and delicious smoothies kikki.K engaged Katya, their designer of the Mindfulness Colouring Book, to create bespoke pieces for those who attended. The Mindfulness Colouring Book, along with 20 reading books now refreshed with kikki.K designed covers and home and workspace pieces designed by Kristina's favourite Scandinavian designers, are some of the unique items on a long list curated by Kristina that are only available in the kikki.K Studio.

All these unique features culminate in what is an inspired and beautiful Studio, presenting truly the best of the kikki.K brand. kikki.K have over 80 boutiques across the globe, along with an online store that ships to almost 140 countries. With site-selection happening in London, there are definitely more exciting things to come.
