Kew Court House , located at 188 High Street, Kew is hosting The Weekend of Beautiful Music on Saturday 14th to Sunday 15th May 2016.

Over these two days, you have the opportunity to experience a program of five music events that will inspire and delight at this boutique performing arts venue. Put this event in your diary to make sure you don't miss out on performances from artists including Ella Hooper and Parvyn Singh (The Bombay Royale), in the intimate setting of the historical Kew Court House.

The program commences at 4pm on Saturday 14th May with Singh and Blanes. Duo Parvyn Singh and Hue Blanes (The Bamboos and The Melodics) sing timeless love ballads that cross musical continents and cultures. Singh plays Indian instruments, both the sitar and the tanpura, to accompany her lush voice as she sings in English and her native language Punjabi, while Blanes' rich baritone and accomplished piano compositions completes the sound.

At 6pm, nine-piece orchestral folk outfit Talulah takes to the stage. Offering elements of jazz, folk, rock and cinematic influence in their music, Talulah will demonstrate why their debut album The Flood has received critical acclaim.

Don't miss Ella Hooper's performance at 8pm. Performing the music from her most recent EP, Venom, the Killing Heidi founding member travels a raw journey of heartache.

The quality acts continue on Sunday 15th May.

At 11am, the program commences with Sublime Flights, with 'music inspired by the birds' for cello and vibraphone. Cellist Caerwen Martin and percussionist Elissa Goodrich will ease audiences into Sunday with poetic morning song inspired by the trills, tweets and voices of birds.

Melbourne musician Natalie Carolan takes to the stage at 2pm. Described as simultaneously exhibiting the qualities of being understated, vulnerable and powerful, Carolan will share music from her yet-to-be released string of singles (produced by Colour Bomb frontman James Saunders) and collaborative album recorded with Luke Howard and Leonard Grigoryan.
