A room with a view
The Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens are 90 minutes from Sydney, and make for a spectacular day trip, with beautiful landscapes and breath-taking views, but it doesn't have to end when the sun goes down.

The Jungle Lodge is accommodation at the back of the gardens, with a backyard of bush and views across the valley.

Comfortably sleeping 10, this four bedroom house has a well-kitted out kitchen, large dinning table and fireplace to relax by.

Prices start at $210 a night, minimum 2 night stay (full details here) - so split between 2 or 3 families, it makes for the perfect low cost getaway.

Enjoy the gardens, head grass karting in Kurrajong, apple picking in Bilpin or even take the 90 minute drive to Jenolan Caves or go for High Tea in Leura. It's the perfect base if you choose to stay awhile.

Take advantage of this little known gem and explore a stunning part of the world.
