There's an enchanting venue in Seminyak waiting for your visit. You'll find The Iron Fairies at Jalan Petitenget No.19x, not far from Petitenget Beach. As the name suggests, this venue is full of fairies, but that's not all. It draws inspiration from iron ore mines and in keeping with this theme the decor comprises lots of heavy iron, chunky timber beams and walls that move.



There are metal pipes, exposed bricks and candles everywhere providing a mesmerizing glow to enhance your experience here.



Someone (quite a few people I suspect) has gone to a lot of trouble to fill glass bottles with mysterious materials and string them up on the walls that don't move and also on the ceiling. It’s the stuff of fairytales and fantasy so let your imagination run wild when you visit.



With a cocktail in hand, you will want to explore and discover the story of the twelve resident fairies. Each has her own unique personality and talents. You will have the opportunity to buy a book containing their story and, in fact, iron fairies themselves from the onsite shop.



Not all are cast from iron, some fairies are far more lifelike. The flesh and blood fairies make guest appearances each evening and are happy to pose for photos. I suspect a lot are taken.



You can book for dinner or just bar snacks and enjoy live music after 8 pm.



Curly staircases lead to a mezzanine level where you can choose to sit at the bar, in a booth or near balustrades overlooking the floor below. Downstairs you’ll find eight individually designed ‘casting rooms’ that can be booked for private gatherings.



Cocktail prices here are similar to what you might pay in Australia so you might want to look to take advantage of Happy Hour opportunities.
