Dance the night away aboard the MV Port Princess
With warmer nights becoming more frequent, there's no better time to experience Platinum Event Agency's Summer Cruise Series and Boat that Rocked events, comprising unrivalled entertainment by local musicians, food and drink, and overall good times. Over the weekend, The Incredibles Live Party Cruise took place aboard the M.V Port Princess, where guests relaxed on the top deck upon departure to live acoustic sounds by Susan Lily before making their way downstairs to witness Adelaide's funky and much loved three piece band, The Incredibles, 'rock the boat' until the very end.
After sold out shows in 2014 and 2015, this live music cruise experience awakens Port Adelaide's quiet nightlife scene, whilst offering a fun and different way to dance the night away, under the stars if you please. By day, the Port Princess welcomes tourists and families with it's well-known scenic Dolphin Cruises, but by night, it is transformed into an exciting entertainment vessel comprising two decks with a bar on each level serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, bar snacks, and different bands each time.
As guests watched the sunset with a cool drink or two, surrounded by friends and new-found acquaintances, chart-topping artist Susan Lily performed a number of her songs from her EP that boasts a country flair, with a twist. It is quite evident that her bubbly personality shines through each song that is based on her own life experiences. Funnily enough, these 'scenarios' that Susan discussed openly with the crowd are extremely relateable, particularly her past dating experiences that had many women on board giggling away and nodding their heads in agreement. Susan relocated to Adelaide in 2013 after living in Melbourne prior as a comedian and musician. The move has not only helped expand her music career but has also made her a part of the Platinum Agency Team, where she will perform for another 3 upcoming dates in the new year.
After Susan's gig, guests flocked to the lower deck to prepare for a night of dancing, drinking and seriously fun times. The Incredibles are a premier band from Adelaide who get the crowd going to a number of classic and contemporary tracks like 80's tunes by George Michael or recent songs from rock favourites like Kings of Leon. The mix of genres, music styles and tempos makes these guys the ultimate party band, perfect for any function or event. All three band members showcased timeless tunes with high-energy and dynamism from the get-go. The Incredibles have toured locally, nationally and internationally and have also performed with some of Australia's top artists.
There's no better feeling than seeing people smile, have fun, and enjoy themselves, which is what the MV Port Princess Party Cruise accomplished. Keep an eye out for upcoming dates on Saturday, January 21, with Clearway performing live, and RUMOURS Fleetwood Mac on Saturday, March 18. Tickets are currently on sale via Platinum Event Agency. Book now to avoid disappointment.
