Illusionists 1903
The Adelaide Festival Centre presents the world premiere of 'The Illusionists 1903' - The Golden Age of Magic. The show transports the audience back to the year 1903, back to a time when magicians and magic were at their peak. This production is a celebration of magic at its finest.

The Illusionists 1903 first premiered three years ago and smashed box office records around the world and this time will be no exception. The show delivers death defying stunts and unbelievable illusions.

Featuring a cast of 8 main stars, each with a different title and ability including Rick Thomas 'The Immoral', Charlie Frye 'The Eccentric', Jonathon Goodwin 'The Daredevil', Mark Kalin 'The Showman, Jinger Leigh 'The Conjuress', Thommy Ten and Amelie Van Tass 'The Clairvoyants' and Armando Lucero 'The Maestro'.

Jonathan Goodwin, The Daredevil, takes a page out of Harry Houdini's book by attempting to remove a straight jacket, but he takes it one step further. He hangs upside down from a trapeze, soaks his pants in fuel and attaches a lit fuse, giving himself only seconds to escape.

The Clairvoyants, Thommy Taen and Amelie Van Tass show their skills by blind-folding Van Tass while Taen touched random objects from members of the audience. She amazed the guests when she quoted the serial number of a gentleman's five dollar bill.

Executive producers Tim Lawson and Simon Painter said "It showcases some of the greatest and most dangerous illusions ever built".

This is a show not to be missed featuring trickery that will make you gasp in amazement. It's a rare opportunity to go back in time to the golden age of magic.
