Are you hanging out for festival season? Good news! This year, it's starting early at a brand new pop-up venue. From 1 December, the Ice Cream Factory in Northbridge will be party central on Friday, Saturday and some Sunday nights throughout December. What to expect? A 3-lane bowling alley, eleven bars, eight dance floors, a silent disco, a drag-queen karaoke bar and a two-storey VIP sun deck, plus some very special events.


Born out of a collaboration between events company Bar Pop and local businesses including Mechanics' Institute, The Dominion League, The Court and El Grotto, will play host to the new festival set to transform Northbridge.

Located at the lawn on the corner of Roe and Lake Street, the venue will sprawl from a central outdoor space into the adjoining warehouse and wind its way upstairs to reveal several custom-built rooftop bars and decks.


Each area has a different theme with something to suit all tastes. Try the Mr Black 3-Lane-Bowling Alley for some friendly competition and the deliciously good range of Mr Black's signature espresso martinis. The Red Bull Silent Disco will be popping up each night, playing multiple channels of dance and urban beats. Visit the Chandon S Chic Easy Tram for a refreshing take on the original champagne cocktail or the Court's Drag Queen Karaoke Bar to watch people (try to) sing. Plus the Corona Bucket List Bar & Stage, El Grotto Bar & Stage, Dominion League Bar, Paramount Nightclub and much more . Also on offer are beer, wine and spirits and cocktails from Gage Roads, The West Winds Gin, Fireball Whisky and Pimms.



Hungry? Flipside Burgers and the Coconut Meat Food Truck will be on site or order whatever you like from Uber Eats and have it delivered straight to the venue. And of course, there's ice cream from the brand new Denada - sugar-free, all natural and delicious.
