A fascinating walk through time at The National Museum
A History of the World in 100 Objects comes to the National Museum of Australia after touring the Middle East and Asia. The carefully chosen artefacts, inventions and artworks in the exhibition represent the history of humanity from two million years ago to the present.

There will be functional artefacts such as early stone tools alongside contemporary works of art from different countries of the world. The National Museum will add a 101st object to the exhibition to mark a point on our journey through history.
