Located between Alloneword and the Step Inn, the Hideaway offers an escape from the raucous and intensity of Fortitude Valley's other hot spots. Playing a range of old school cool tunes and later indie gems, the DJs ensure everyone is dancing and having fun.
One of the best things about the Hideaway is the patrons. You won't find any obnoxious bros or aloof hipsters. These people are just out to drink, dance and have fun. Without annoying anyone around them.
Speaking of drinking, the bar staff at the Hideaway are really lovely and warm. It can take a while to get a drink (being a new bar they don't have many staff yet) but you know it's quality and made with care. The price is average - more expensive than RGs, cheaper than X & Y and about the same as Ric's. Expect to pay $8 for a nice vodka, lime and soda.
