I got hooked on The Handmaid's Tale once I binge-watched the first season. It led me to read the book and in all the excitement, I waited in anticipation for season two.

It does not disappoint. Elizabeth Moss and the team of actors continue the story and take you more into the heart of Gilead. Elizabeth Moss, Ralph Fiennes and all the other actors are amazing. They are totally consistent with the first season and maintain the story.

The series begins where it left off, and from the get-go, it draws you in. The first scenes are compelling and bring vibrancy and colour into the heart of Gilead's punishing laws and management of its women.

The issues that are in The Handmaid's Tale ring true still in this modern world. Some of the parallels between that world and our world are scary. I'd highly recommend reading the book if you haven't already.

Enjoy the second season.
