For all beer lovers the Half Pint is a must visit bar. Tucked away at the corner of Thompson Street in West Village, the bar is usually packed with students (NYU is in close vicinity).

The Half Pint serves more than a mind boggling 200 varieties of beer including numerous seasonal flavors, on tap and in bottles. Its collection boasts of great beers from Scotland, Australia, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands and the United States.

A nice and comfortable setting, friendly servers, good food and a vast array of beers from around the world to choose from, this a great way to unwind. If you are going with a group of friends, you can try the beer tower, which is 6 pints of beer.

There's a decent wine list and cocktails for the non-beer enthusiasts as well. The burgers and the cheese curds are the most sought after. This place also offers 'make your own sandwiches', and for those with a sweet tooth, try the beer floater 'dessert' - ice cream with some fruit flavor beer.

All in all, its a cool place to relax, sit around and chat while sipping on some great tasting beer. The Half Pint is also good venue for hosting a private party.
