Guitar lessons in the comfort and convenience of your own home whatever the weather. Whilst it's always great to learn something new and become a more interesting person, the downside of learning is that you have to get yourself there and back. But, if you want to learn guitar in Brisbane there is a way it can be done travel free at no extra cost! This is an exciting discovery that I have booked to utilise commencing next week.

The Guitar Guy comes to your home. No more parking wars. No more getting onto a busy bus with your backpack on your back and your guitar in its vinyl case slung over your right shoulder as you try to use your Go card. No more struggling into a seat with your back pack beside you and your guitar between your legs falling forward and hitting some surly guy in the head. Now you can stay home and not even have to zip your guitar into its case.

The main 'Guitar Guy' is Michael but business has boomed and there are now four professional teachers. Just as if they were in Rome going to serenade, these string experts zoom to your house on Vespas with guitars on their backs. A classy, European touch, free of charge. Further, the neighbours seeing the weekly arrival and hearing the strumming of two guitars will think that you are so outstandingly good on guitar that the teacher insists on the privilege of coming to you.

Lessons are available six days a week from 9 am to 9 pm, giving both early birds and owls a bit of room to manoeuvre and things like school or work to be fitted in around your guitar lesson. It gives the teachers the chance to have part time jobs as well to pay for petrol.

Incredibly, this service costs a mere $66 per hour or $55 for forty five minutes. Seriously, that is the rate you would pay at a music studio and you get to stay home in your socks.

Whoever teaches you will be a professional guitar teacher providing expert tuition as you bloom. It's amazing if you get Michael himself, but there's no guarantees as he is a man in demand. Michael also plays with the popular Country/Rock band, Busby Marou who have released albums. They have their own Wikipedia page and you can check out the band online. I'm also a music reviewer so I paid obsessive attention to the details of the guitar work to see if it was good enough. I was impressed.

It will be my little boy who will be being availed of this mobile service, starting next week. I'm a loving, not pushy mother who likes to give her child the best she can obtain. I strongly insisted that Michael teach my son and got what I wanted.
