Children's storybook favourite, The Gruffalo, will be brought to the stage in a Brisbane season that runs from 25 to 27 June 2022.
The production is based on the British children's picture book by writer and playwright Julia Donaldson. It is the story of a smart little mouse who defends himself from a raft of predators while walking through 'a deep dark wood'. The book was first published in March 1999 and has become a modern-day classic.
It has a strong message of courage and resilience described as
"no matter how small or how big you are, you can get yourself out of any situation."
The Gruffalo performance will be on show at the QUT Gardens Theatre is located in X Block, Queensland University of Technology, 2 George St, Brisbane City (next to the City Botanic Gardens).
Tickets are priced at $30.78 - $39.43 AUD plus booking fee (A Reserve and B Reserve) and can be purchased online.
Don't miss out on this child-friendly performance for the whole family.
