The Grinny Granny Donkey is a children's book written by Craig Smith and illustrated by Katz Cowley. It is 24 pages long and suitable for children between 3 and 5 years of age and was published by Scholastic on 11 January 2020. It is the third book in the best-selling Wonky Donkey book series which shot to viral fame in 2018 when a video was uploaded to the internet of a grandmother giggling uncontrollably as she read the book to her infant grandson. The video proved so popular it caused a huge surge of public interest in The Wonky Donkey and a massive increase in book sales.

Craig Smith and Katz Cowley followed up The Wonky Donkey with a sequel called The Dinky Donkey in 2018. The Grinny Granny Donkey is named after the original grinny granny herself, Janice Clark, who delighted the world and made everyone smile when she couldn't stop giggling while reading the Wonky Donkey to her baby grandson.

The Grinny Granny Donkey is a delightful book. It follows the same formula as the other books in the series. I loved the illustrations and rhyming verses. Children will love shouting "Hee-haw!" and all of the sweet and silly things the grinny granny donkey will get up to in this book. Craig Smith and Katz Cowley have delivered another wonderful Wonky Donkey story with a sweet message in it about a granny who loves her family very much.
