The Great Muppet Caper

The Great Muppet Caper is the second film based on the popular television show, The Muppet Show, which ran from 1976 to 1981 and was made in the final year of the show.

This film tells a story, in which Kermit The Frog and Fozzie Bear, play the roles of twin brothers who team up with Gonzo The Great Photographer and work as reporters for the Daily Chronicle.

The team is assigned to do an interview with the famous fashion designer, Lady Holiday, but end up in a whirlwind chase to find her stolen diamond after Miss Piggy is wrongly accused of the theft.

The Great Muppet Caper is a hilarious and mysterious film, filled with absolutely stunning singing and dancing routines, with equally amazing costume designs, for the entire family to enjoy, with a little bit of "adult humour" cut in here and there, that will fly right over the kid's heads.

The Great Muppet Caper is rated G for general exhibition and was originally released on VHS in 1984 and first released on DVD in 2005.
