It looks like a giant milk crate filled with edible plants; it's an explosion of colour filled with basil and lettuce, thyme and strawberries, oregano, mint, chervil, watercress, strawberries, spearmint, sage, kale, zucchini, tatsoi, and so much more.

The giant cube has been made from recycled materials and the locals have been germinating edible plants to put into the cube to create a green and living environment in the local area. It is situated at Green Square Station.

On October 20th, the great crate is dismantled and the plants will be given away to a good home. So come along and collect one, or enjoy the street fair which is close by at Tote Park (behind the Tote Building - 100 Joynton Avenue, Zetland) from 10am - 2pm.

To find out how to get there, call 131 500 or visit their website.
