If you are looking for an easy walk with well-maintained pathways and stunning views, The Gorge Walk at North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) will not disappoint!

The 1.2km trail offers spectacular ocean views from the rocky outcrops of Point Lookout and multiple observation decks throughout. The track is a relatively easy boardwalk with intermittent sets of stairs. It travels atop the walls of the incredible gorge and rises and falls with the surrounding elevation.

This particular stretch of land is ideal for spotting marine birds, dolphins and migrating whales (June - November).

This trail can easily be completed within half an hour. Regardless, make sure to allow yourself additional time for capturing some "instaworthy" images.

At the end of the walk is a fenced playground with toilets.Of course, no trip is complete without a visit to one of the few takeaway shops and a swim at the beach!

Please note that the Gorge Walk is not within walking distance of the jetty. Travel by car or public bus is required, parking is available at Moloomba Road, Point Lookout. Check for ferry and barge timetables here .
