Highly anticipated, the revival of The Goods Shed at Lydiard Street North, corner Nolan Street in Ballarat is set to launch its Dining Hall on 21 November 2023, so why not come along and enjoy exploring all it has to offer. Award-winning developer Pellicano has established a multifaceted hospitality and entertainment hub that'll house phenomenal culinary concepts and unique event spaces. The Goods Shed boasts a major redevelopment of the heritage-listed bluestone building (circa 1863) and surrounding area adjacent to Ballarat train station and is a must-visit precinct for locals and visitors. Developed, owned and managed by Pellicano, this vibrant new social, cultural and hospitality hub is housed inside the now-revived heritage space. The Goods Shed Ballarat has been made possible thanks to a $28 million investment from the Victorian Government in the Ballarat Station Precinct Redevelopment.

In its redevelopment, The Atlantic Group® has created a variety of spaces, including the all-day dining hotspot Nolans , which offers wholesome meals showcasing local producers and fresh ingredients. Diners can expect the likes of Salt Baked Celeriac; Panko Crumbed Western Plains Pork Neck; Istra Salami Pizza and many more delicious dinner menu items. For breakfast, guests can enjoy House Made Labneh with Soft Boiled Eggs, Lamb Chorizo with Roasted Tomatoes, Dukkah and Sourdough; or the likes of Truffle Scrambled Eggs with Mushrooms and Sourdough and much more. Guests dining at Nolans will be surrounded by a warm and inviting décor, making it the perfect spot for your morning brew or special evening occasion.


Boom Time , also created by the Atlantic Group®, is a casual Asian eatery with an array of delicious dumplings and tasty meals. Expect the likes of Scallop Dumplings with Sichuan Chilli Sauce, as well as Pork and Black Truffle Soup Dumplings with House Truffled Soy, and Wok Fried Pippies in House XO, and much more. Boom Time dumplings arrive Launch day on Tue 21 Nov, so come along and be the first to grab a bite. It's open from 11.30am till late. The menus at Nolans and Boom Time have been created by Executive Chef of The Goods Shed, Konstantin “Konny” Putkin. Konny has worked in multiple hatted restaurants and was recently awarded the 2022 Australian Chef of the Year at Foodservice Australia in Sydney. He is a keen forager, fermenter, and lover of whole animal butchery. Itinerant Spirits has also made The Goods Shed its home, and is a a multi-spirit destination offering rich, bold and complex spirits. Those looking to try the Vansetter Vodka, Wayfarer Whiskey, and the Gallivanter Gin can either visit for a tasting or choose from an array of cocktails. Itinerant Spirits provides a stunning setting for world-class food and drinks, with marble tables surrounded by exposed brass stills to showcase the distilling process. Sip, savour, and prepare to experience the authentic flavours of Western Victoria’s history and soul. Gin, vodka and whiskey for wanderers, check it out at the Launch. Aside from the Dining Hall, The Goods Shed also boasts a fabulous Events Hall with a variety of function spaces which opened its doors in January 2022 and has quickly become popular for exclusive events and productions like unforgettable weddings, anniversaries, corporate dinners, birthdays and so on. The Terminus Theatre hosts community events, productions and screenings in a space that radiates its own character. The Carriage Rooms can be partitioned, creating multiple areas equipped with state-of-the-art sound, lighting and visual equipment. The Events Plaza has a beautiful mini amphitheatre where bleacher-like concrete steps feature lush green grass, creating a fresh, inviting atmosphere, designed for pre-event cocktails, outdoor ceremonies, community talks, performances, and pop-up markets.
