The Glow of Legacy: Black Caviar’s Perfect Record

Black Caviar, the beautiful mare that won more hearts than Phar Lap with her perfect score of 25 wins from 25 races, was recently inducted into the Racing Hall of Fame.

Born and reared in Australia, Black Caviar is rated as the best sprinter in the world. She was declared World Champion Sprinter by the World Thoroughbred Racehorse Rankings for three years running, and this year retired, undefeated.

The National Sports Museum is celebrating Black Caviar's success with a special presentation of the memorabilia that tells her incredible story of success.

The trophies, her racing colours, racing saddle, and the snuff box awarded for her legendary win in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes in 2012 are among the treasured items on public display for a limited time only.

If, like so many other Australians, your fell in love with the champion mare then come along to the National Sports Museum to see The Glow of Legacy: Black Caviar's Perfect Record, on display from now until January 2014.
