Stop in, see The Girls and perhaps try a Rump Shaker
If your day trip sees you heading out along the Warrego Highway, you may want to make a pit stop at this very conveniently located coffee bar. Situated right on the Warrego Highway at Marburg The Girls' Coffee Bar is a halfway point between Brisbane and Toowoomba.
[ADVERT]Travelling to Toowoomba regularly these days, we always take a break here to stretch the legs, grab something to eat and enjoy a great Amanti coffee. Service is friendly and quick and The Girls seem to have everything covered here. You can dine in (inside when it's cool and windy) or grab a table outside where you can catch a bit of sunshine.
A full menu is available and there's plenty of variety to suit all tastes. Although we've always ordered from the take-away menu, the food being delivered to diners always looks great. Prices are reasonable, indicated by a packed dining area and, at times, a queue to order coffees and take-away. Even the take-away menu gives you plenty of choice.
To add to their popularity, the girls sell a range of pre-cooked meals from their freezer section. These meals include gluten free choices and can be delivered to your door (see website for cost and delivery area). Should you be in a hurry, you can text your coffee order ahead of your arrival by calling 0488ORDERS or 0488673377. Pre-ordered coffees will be ready 15 minutes after ordering time.
To add to the reasons to stop here, there is a florist/nursery/gift shop, Stop and Smell the Roses, right next door that provides an interesting browse. We often pop in to pick up a small gift or some flowers to take to hubby's Mum when visiting her in Toowoomba. The flowers are fresh and reasonably priced and there's a great range of gifts should you need a last minute present.
So, if you're heading out west why not add this stop-off to your itinerary and take the opportunity to refuel (yourselves, not the car) and stretch the legs? Our car just seems to know it has to turn off the highway here.
