The Girlfriend Priceline Model Search is Coming to Perth

Anyone with a passing interest in modelling knows that one of Australia's most famous models, Samantha Harris, got her first big break after winning the Dolly Covergirl competition at the age of 11.

For girls who want to be the next Samantha Harris, Girlfriend Magazine and Priceline Pharmacy are doing a nationwide search for their next Superstar Model, and they will be at Westfield Carousel on July 16th to see if a Perth girl has what it takes.



The overall winner will walk away with a two year contract with Chic Management, a holiday to New York or London, two fashion shoots for Girlfriend, a prize pack from Priceline plus $5,000 cash.

National finalists will each a two year contract, flights to Sydney for the national finalist shoot and winner announcement plus a prize pack from Priceline.

Entrants must be at least thirteen to enter and anyone under 18 needs parent permission. Everyone who auditions will get a prize bag with goodies.

Because they are expecting a huge crowd on the day, you can sneak your way into the VIP Express lane so you can be seen first by the judges. There are a few ways of achieving this such as being a current subscriber to Girlfriend Magazine or spending $30 at Priceline.



The competition starts at 9am but it's likely that people will start queueing a lot earlier in order to be at pole position. On the day, once you have registered you will be asked to chat with the judges for a minute or two and have your picture taken.

The state finalists will be announced at noon on the same day, and a minimum of 6 will be chosen, although they may select up to 12 lucky girls. And yes, sorry boys, this is for the girls only this time.

There are plenty of terms and conditions so if you're thinking about auditioning, make sure you understand what is expected of you.
