Here are three ideas to support the under privilege
As we all know, the Sunshine Coast has been ravaged by bushfires and the good people at Boom Shankar in Noosa are supporting the local community services. The Noosa store is holding drinks and nibbles this Wednesday to raise funds for the Queensland Rural Fire Service. Join in the Christmas festivities with in house dress-ups or buy a Christmas pressie with all proceeds on the day being donated to the Queensland Rural Fire Service. Drinkies and nibbles are available all day until 7pm. For further information visit www.boomshankar.com.au

Gift baskets this weekend will be going to families in Brisbane, drought affected families in Regional Queensland and Queensland's homeless. There are various roles to sign up for such as registration desk, packing and sorting, parking attendants, wrapping gifts, dispatch co-ordinators and delivery drivers. The packing weekend commences from 8:30am Saturday December 14th and concludes Sunday December 15th. To donate your time and services visit www.brisbanebasketbrigade.com
