Over 40 things to see and do at the Funarium in Claremont
When the kids are driving you up the wall and you remember there is STILL another week of school holidays to go, think about a trip to the Funarium.
The Funarium is a new school holiday activity to hit Claremont Showgrounds from Friday, 7th July to Sunday, 9th July and is aimed at kids aged 4-12 years.
The Funarium will feature 10 themed zones offering engaging, educational and fun activities, including cooking, sport, art and craft, animals, music, technology, science and gardening - even construction and careers. With up to 6 different activities in each zone, the only problem the kids will face will be where to start first.
Highlights include the RAC Rescue Experience in a helicopter, the new 'it thing' – the silent disco, teepee building with Nature Play WA, photography workshops with Nathan from Channel 7's Get Arty, an inflatable planetarium from Scitech, cooking with My Kitchen Rules teams, hip hop dancing classes and the amazing inflatable Mudd Rush obstacle course, plus so much more.
Unlike a lot of other events, there are no time limits so kids can enjoy a full 7 hours of activities. Adult tickets are priced at $15 plus booking fees, while a child's ticket is $32.50 plus booking fees. You can also purchase family tickets for a family of two adults and two children for $85 plus booking fee. Tickets are available here.
The Funarium brings three full days of fun and excitement to Perth these July school holidays. There's no shortage of things to do and see, so make this a must for your holiday to-do list.
