Ooh La La - A Spot of Paris in Melbourne
Tucked away on a little side street off the main road, you may miss this sweet little cafe. However it is certainly worth the find. The food that we tried was of the highest quality and you could taste the love and care that had gone into it.

We originally thought that it was just a small cafe to get a milkshake or a coffee at, however, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that they had an entire food menu that could rival some of the French cafes we found around Paris.
We tried a quiche which was one of the best I have ever had along with a beautiful frangipane tart. The presentation of the food lives up to the beautiful taste and if you are unsure as to what to choose, the staff will be only too happy to tell you about the specials of the day.
It is a small restaurant and therefore perhaps prebooking would be a good idea.
The cakes and lovely decadent desserts are all set out a long the counter as you enter, which I always find really appealing as you can actually see what you are about to choose.
They have a reasonable wine list and the coffee is served exactly the way you would like it.
If you are wanting to take home some gifts or some special meals to have at home, all of their food is available as take away and they also have a small selection of olive oils, pickles, jams and treats for gifts for your friends and family.
Lots of decadent treats and gifts here. *Image The French Milkbar Facebook Page
