Finding good vegan eateries can be difficult, but The Forest Vegan Café makes eating out a lot easier and tastier.

The Forest has the typical relaxed and quirky feel of West End, and is a cute and casual eatery. The decor is scarce and simplistic but don't judge a book by its cover, the food is delicious and the staff are friendly and efficient.

[ADVERT]The Forest, located on Boundary Street, is open daily from 10am until 9pm and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as an array of tasty treats and snacks.

For breakfast, there are various options. I opted for the Juggalo Breakfast and a smoothie. The Juggalo will satisfy most, even those who are hesitant about vegan food. It came with a large variety of vegan treats, including spicy scrambled tofu, delicious home made baked beans and fakin' bacon.

There is also the option to create your own breakfast from the options available on the menu.

The Forest also serves an array of cabinet food including salads, the delicious 'no bull' pie, curries and tasty desert options. It can be hard finding desert options for those following a vegan diet, and the cheesecake at The Forest is especially creamy and delicious.

Whether eating a vegan diet is an ethical choice or a health decision, The Forest is sure to satisfy. Even non-vegans will be happy with the array of choices on the well-priced menu.
