The Forage is a popular street food festival which is held at the
Dairy Road precinct in Fyshwick, 4 times a year with the seasons. This festival attracts thousands of Canberrans who flock to the area to try delicious food, wines and gourmet treats from local and interstate chefs, growers and producers. For food-lovers, it is the highlight of the year!
In 2020 however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festivals have been put on hold, much to the disappointment of Canberrans - but also for the businesses who rely on these foodie events every year. The organisers now have good news - they are back! Between
4th - 6th December they will be holding a smaller, ticketed event, to control the crowds and keep everyone COVID-safe. Canberra, it's time to celebrate -

This December, the stalls will be set out through the Dairy Road gardens for 200 people to walk around - socially-distancing - per session. There will be wines by
Cellar Door, markets by
Suitcase Rummage and a full program of live music.
Each session will last for 90 minutes at a time, which is plenty of time to enjoy a delicious entrée, followed by lunch or dinner and of course, dessert! Book in for one of the eleven sessions available over the first weekend of December. Tickets cost $8 (plus booking fee) and children under 12 are free.
Contact details will be required during registration for contact tracing purposes. The event site will also be sanitised between each session so that everyone can enjoy the day safely.
