Affectionately known as 'The Scotto', the 'Flying Scotsman' is a popular gastropub based just outside of Perth in Mount Lawley. It lies at the top of Beaufort Street, just above the 'Cappuccino Strip'.

The Scotto is famous for its $10 pizza and beer deal on Sunday evenings. Although the 'Sunday Session' market is very competitive in Perth, I think it's safe to say that the Scotto have got the upper hand with this fantastic offer.

They also open slightly later than other pubs in the area on a Sunday, making them the favourite spot to end the night with a beer and some food.

They offer a varied menu, which although is great, can be very pricey, given that the Queens Tavern is much cheaper and just down the road. They have a wide selection of Aussie brewed beers, as well as some international favourites.

This is a busy pub, with an excellent roadside seating area, where patrons enjoy Beaufort Street in the sun with a cool drink and a snack. If you're visiting, Sunday nights are the best for value, atmosphere and great beer.
