Straight from the sea
You cannot beat fresh seafood and to find fresh seafood, one would need to know a good fishmonger. Someone who not only knows their seafood but who also knows what the definition of quality and fresh means are The Fishmongers.
Fish Mongers located on the Ground Floor of Hurstville Westfield
They are located on the ground floor of Westfield in Hurstville. This seafood business has been around for no less than 10 years and be assured that they have flourished over the years, purely because they are known for their quality of produce.
Sea creatures in a transparent square shape designed under your feet
Decorated and designed with the theme of the sea to give it a real beach feel, they sell everything from the sea. You know it is fresh because of how shiny their produce looks through the window and also because of how busy they get, especially over the weekend and the festive season. Yes, believe it or not, shiny can be the equivalent meaning of fresh. I know it sounds strange but it is true. From live crabs, snapper, uncooked prawns, Sydney oysters (a very popular choice at fine dining restaurants), salmon, whiting and much much more. They are reasonably priced and with your luck on the day, you might snap yourself a bargain with certain fish and prawns. You will know that you paid the right price after your seafood lunch or dinner; after all, you are paying for quality.
So, bring out your fishing rod but watch out for the fisherman as he might have snapped up the fish you were after before you had the chance and remember this. Early birds get the worms or in this case, the catch of the day. Happy fishing!
