Birthday Bash of National Gallery
National Gallery turns one year this month! Visitors will get to see the heart of the Civic District come alive from day to night. Over 60 elaborate programmes are specially curated for audiences of all ages and interests.
Fašade show will come back this year with a new illusion of luminescent paint engulfing the entire fašade of the City Hall building. It'll be the first time Gallery will work with Spinifex Group (Australia). Have fun with the interactive sculpture which responds to touch, Affinity by S1T2 (Australia), at the City Hall Chamber level 3.
Catch Pagoda Robot, a 5-meter tall installation made of recycled cardboard, at Padang Atrium level 1. See a 3D version of Liu Kang's iconic painting Artist and Model made with layers of knitted and crocheted yarn.
Gallery Light to Night Festival: Family
Admission charges will be waived. Visitors will be able to visit the exhibitions till midnight and join on specially-themed late night tours. Artist and Empire family tour will be held on 25 November and 2 December from 2pm to 3pm at Keppel Centre for Art Education. Tickets priced are at $20 per adult-child pair.
Browse and buy one-of-a-kind pieces by local artisans and craft makers at Art and Design Market on Saturdays and Sundays from 10AM to 5PM at Supreme Court Terrace.
Join PechaKucha Night Singapore: Rojak.Digital on 2 December from 7pm until late at Supreme Court Terrace. Free workshops are held at Keppel Centre for Art Education and Rooftop Studios from 10.30AM onward.

Shimmering Treetops presented by LASALLE College of the Arts and Swarovski is a mesmerizing display located at Supreme Court Atrium Balcony level 4.

Don't miss Nathan Hartono Bloco Singapura, Budak Pantai, SYC Ensemble Singers, Charlie Lim, Alemay Fernandez, DJ RAH/Senja, DJ Duri-O, and DJ KAYE who will take turn to entertain visitors on weekends from 9am to 2.30am at Padang Atrium.
Kids get to play in a colourful Balloon Forest created by balloon sculptor Lily Tan & friends. Kids films will be screened for free from Friday to Sunday from 10AM onward.
Gallery Light to Night Festival: Film
Catch the local premiere of Art Through Our Eyes, an anthology of short films inspired by its Southeast Asian art collection. Award-winning ASEAN film directors Joko Anwar, Ho Yuhang, Brillante Mendoza, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, and Eric Khoo each handpicked a masterpiece from the 19th and 20th century that they resonated with.
Painting With Light Southeast Asian Film Series will screen Cambodian films on 3-4 December. Tickets are available at $10/person. SGIFF 2016 has its film screening at $12/person until 4 December at the Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium.
Bring along your mats to watch Royston Tan's Homecoming at the Padang on 26 November 9pm. Do arrive early to get the best seats, and feast on sumptuous food and beverage from the pop-up stalls along St Andrew's Road.
