Recently opened, The Finch café has become the friend of nearby workers. One can feel the intimacy of personal chats being conducted in the black and white urban atmosphere. In the building corridor seating gives a sense of secrecy. The footpath seats offer views of the passers-by.

Regular menu changes keep your interest with healthy choices of wraps, quiches, salads et al. For something a little different, try Asian Pork Tacos, Feta Tart or perhaps Israeli cous cous with herb pesto. Prices are very reasonable.

Breakfast menu from 6:30am may include Haloumi & Veg Roll with fried egg and tomato relish, Avocado on Turkish bread with lemon and coriander or fruit loaf among other delicious selections.

For lunch, chew on a salad of raw broccoli with cashew, garlic cream and cranberries or perhaps shaved cabbage with vinaigrette, parmesan, raisins and honey-roasted walnuts.

From the cabinet try a Zesty Orange cupcake or Raspberry white choc and lemon curd friand. Gluten free sweets are available as are lactose free or almond milk for your hot drinks. Bundy juices or Bundaberg soft drinks will cool this summer. Coffee produced by Fonzie Abbott.

The name of the café does not lie. Service is brisk, friendly and professional. Healthy with value for money, this café with a difference is a must for workers and visitors alike. In the city heart why not fly in and get a feel of the local culture?
