I love trying new food and new restaurants. My other passions are Origami and Pokémon
Well known for their ability to capture their own food, carnivorous plants have long been popular with people. The Botanic Gardens of South Australia and the Australian Carnivorous Plants Society is running a masterclass on 26 October 2019 at the Adelaide Botanic Garden to give people the opportunity to learn more about this group of plants.

This masterclass will show participants the different trapping mechanisms used by carnivorous plants to capture their preys and where these plants can be observed locally. Cultivation requirements of these plants will also be discussed. Participants will get to engage in hands-on propagation techniques and take the fruits of their labour home at the end of the masterclass. Mature specimens will be on sale for those who prefer to bring home an established plant.
