I'm a blogger living in Wollongong, NSW Australia. I enjoy travelling and exploring my hometown.

Killalea Markets
I was bored one weekend and was trying to think of something to do. Scrolling through Facebook, I noticed it was the 1st Sunday of the month, which meant The Farms Market was on.

So I took a drive down to Killalea State Park to check them out.

I got there just before 11am and they were already filling up the third carpar. (Parking is managed by the local Lion's Club and cost a simple gold coin.)

I followed the crowds to the markets where I walked around the various food stalls containing everything you can think of, then detoured down a track to the beach. The place was buzzing!

The markets are mainly clothing with talented live music and a massive picnic space.

I think my favourite part (apart from the view) is the space. The markets are not on top of each other and you can actually sit and enjoy the music. Just don't go on a super hot day.

Make sure you take a walk around the state park and it explore it. I am still yet to do that properly. You can see all the way to Kiama.
