Amazing treats await including a HUGE chocolate fountain
Hahndorf is one of those charming villages that you just love to stroll through in the hopes of finding that special little place to shop, dine or be indulged. It seems every time I visit another little treasure has popped up, and this time I was not disappointed to discover the Farm Gate Providore.
Amazing delights to tempt you - the walkers by stopped and oohed in delight.
Walking along the street, you will encounter this sweet little farmhouse style building, the front set along the footpath as if it is a formal high tea with little tables and fresh flowers.
An unassuming building that holds decadent delights.
Outside, to draw you in, there is a large cabinet filled with decadent delights. But don't allow that to lull you into a false sense of calorie safety.
Take a walk on the wild side and enter the building.
On the inside you will find a heaving cabinet of wicked treats, the largest slice of caramel slice I have ever seen in my life and a huge chocolate fountain flowing with ease, as if to say - eat me, eat me.
Divine looking cakes
Sweet and savoury delights await you.
Just in case all of that is not quite enough decadence to last you for a day trip, they also have a chocolate cabinet filled with even more sweet delights.
Divine freshly made chocolates.
The Farm Gate Providore Hahndorf is located at 84 Main Road, Hahndorf, South Australia 5245
Have you been here? What did you try, what did you like best, are you adding it to your 'to do' list? We would love to hear from you, please add in your notes and thoughts in the comments box on this review to share with us.
How strange, all of their top shelf was gluten free, including all their macarons. I'm sure someone from the Farm Gate Providore may jump in soon and fill in my gaps here with what they actually offer, but I know I saw several gluten free options when I visited. Perhaps just ask them which ones when you visit :-)
